What does Coach Hintenberger's Online Training Program Include?
- Initial lifting technique assessment and movement analysis. - Short and Long Term Goal Setting. Reviewing potential kettlebell competition dates and determining a realistic rank to train for. - Continual instruction and guidance to ensure proper kettlebell technique to perform safely, efficiently and successfully. - Customized program design specific to your present ability, time, etc. Recommendations will be given in relation to what is necessary to achieve your goals. - Programs are provided 1-2 weeks at a time. - Weekly check-ins. Performance outcomes are reviewed to establish weekly programming and ensure progressions are happening according to your goals. - Additional strength and conditioning workouts that will take all elements of fitness, strength & conditioning to a whole new level. These components should be the basis and platform for all Kettlebell Sport Lifters. - Reach rank I, CMS or MS. - Email access to Master Coach Jennifer Hintenberger, MSIC, MS. 24-48 hour response time. |

"About seven months ago I contacted Jennifer at Make It Happen Strength & Conditioning and became one of her online students. I just wanted to do some general fitness with kettlebells as I work long hours and don't have a lot of time to go to the gym or take classes. I remember at the beginning Jennifer asked me if I wanted to compete with the MIH kettlebell sport team. Jennifer knew at the time I could only lift the 12kg kettlebell for about 7 reps and no more than 1 minute. She knew my hectic work schedule and she knew I would be working out by myself at home while she sent my program online. I thought she was crazy!
A few months later I competed with the team in Detroit, MI for my first competition and accomplished 105 reps in 10 minutes with a first place win.

How is online coaching is conducted?
- Submit payment via PayPal.
- Submit a video of Jerk, Snatch, and/or Long Cycle that you would like to analyzed using a YouTube link of your existing video.
- Video should be no less than 3 min in length.
- Receive feedback within 24-48 hours from the date video submitted via email.
- Customized training programs are delivered through Microsoft Excel and/or Microsoft Word formats.
- Training programs are created on a weekly or biweekly basis and based on periodization principles.
- Programs are individualized, achievable and easy to follow.
- Tell us what your goals are and we will lead you to success.
- Submit payment via PayPal.

"Going through my old videos I realized that they could possibly help motivate my students and other kettlebell lifters. My students often say that I make lifting look easy (even though it never feels that way) and I thought showing a few videos of how I looked just 2-3 years ago would demonstrate that I was once the same, awkward and nervous lifter that they and you possibly are. I am still nervous, possibly more than ever, when I lift but my technique and comfort under the bell has improved considerably. This is thanks to starting out with a great coach, Catherine Imes, (until I felt confident enough to coach myself), being responsible by researching information and studying videos of other lifters, learning from my own students and simply putting in the TIME it takes. Patience is a very important part of this sport.
The best advice I could give to any lifter starting out in this sport, any lifter not achieving their ranks, or a lifter who feels that it is impossible to move on to the next bell weight - find and hire a coach, even for a short period of time, who is experienced lifting in the event that you would like to lift in, as well as, someone that you trust and respect." |
